Sr Strategy Analyst / Strategy Analyst
Location: Shanghai, China
About The Role:
Supply and demand have always been crucial elements for mobility platforms. The Marketplace Strategy - Strategy Optimization Team focuses on implementing growth in DiDi's supply and demand scale and improving efficiency in supply-demand transactions through strategic innovation. The team heavily invests in machine learning, temporal modeling, constrained optimization, etc to optimize supply and demand structures to increase consumer and driver engagement. The team is critical in theoretical exploration and implementation of supply-demand equilibrium at a micro-level spatiotemporal dimension and focuses on enhancing platform stickiness for drivers and passengers through the design and implementation of strategies.
What You'll Do:
Explore theoretical analysis of supply-demand equilibrium in the micro-level spatiotemporal dimension
Build statistical, optimization, and machine learning models for a range of applications
Design and execute product experiments and interpret the results to draw detailed and actionable conclusions
Use data to understand product performance and to identify opportunities
Present findings to senior management to inform business decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across disciplines such as product, engineering, algorithm, operations, and marketing to drive system development end-to-end from ideation to production
Qualifications:
1-3 yr working experience in top consulting/major technology companies
Undergraduate degree with outstanding academic record and/or Masters
Knowledge of underlying mathematical foundations of statistics, machine learning, optimization, economics, and analytics
Strong analytical capability and problem-solving skills; skills in data analytics and experience in data-driven operation management preferred; independent and critical thinking
Strong business communication and influencing skills in both English and Chinese; multi-cultural background preferred; strong passion for international business and enjoy global business travels
Mission-driven entrepreneurship
Ability to use Python to work efficiently at scale with large data sets and proficiency in SQL as a preference
